MEDIATOR RELEASE TEST
Food Sensitivity Testing
What is food sensitivity testing?
The Mediator Release Test (MRT®) is a food sensitivity test that identifies your immune system's response to 176 foods and food-chemicals.
The mediator release and subsequent “food sensitivities” symptoms contribute to many common and chronic health conditions, especially those that have not been effectively treated, despite multiple doctor visits, medications, and interventions.
Some of these conditions include:
- Irritable Bowel Syndrome
- Crohn's Disease
- Ulcerative Colitis
- Chronic diarrhea
- GERD, reflux
- Migraines or chronic headaches
- Fibromyalgia
- Chronic fatigue
- Chronic sinusitis
- Rheumatoid arthritis
- Eczema
- Psoriasis
- Autoimmunity
- Attention Deficit
- Obesity
Why use the MRT® test?
Mediators are chemicals produced by the body in reaction to certain foods or food-chemicals that it recognizes as unwelcome invaders.
Not all testing is clinically useful because these reactions are not antibody mediated and thus cannot be identified with IgG, IgA or IgE testing.
The Mediator Release Test delivers unparalleled information that no other blood test or approach provides. It is a functional assessment of the inflammatory response that takes into consideration the widest range of sensitivity mechanisms. And because MRT® quantifies the inflammatory response, it is able to shed light on both clinical and sub-clinical inflammatory reactions.
With the information that can only be provided by MRT® we can create an anti-inflammatory eating plan specifically for you that will produce the most complete outcomes in the shortest time.
